To make a donation

Parents in Action for Education is supported by the Third Avenue Resource Centre. The Centre is incorporated and has a charity number which allows it to give tax receipts for donations.

The Third Avenue Resource Centre has launched its 2007-2008 fundraising campaign.

Its goal is to raise $15,000. The money collected will be earmarked exclusively for Parents in Action for Education to help it promote the Citizen Declaration for Equality in Education among families as well as in neighbourhoods and schools.

Where does your money go?

Parents in Action for Education will promote the Declaration throughout Montréal's neighbourhoods. Fifteen discussion circles and forums are planned with as many groups from across Montreal. We need $15,000 to offer a warm welcome and inviting conditions that will encourage as many people as possible to participate in the circles and forums. Each activity requires $1,000 to cover the costs of:

  • organizing MicroMacro workshops for children
  • promotion and documentation translation
  • room audiovisual equipment rental
  • travel for the Parents in Action for Education facilitators
  • refreshments

We value your donations. There are several simple ways to make a donation: by telephone, by mail or online (soon).

Any contribution of $10 and more is tax deductible (registered charity number: 11884 6336 RR0001).

Your generosity helps it reduce its dependence on limited institutional private funds. Parents in Action for Education and the Third Avenue Resource Centre never sell information on their donors to advertising, marketing or any other type of agency. We do not divulge our donors' email addresses, telephone numberes or mailing addresses to anyone. Rest assured that any information you share with us will be kept in the strictest confidence.
